WHAT PREPARED ME TO SERVE
- I left British Columbia at 16 with little more than a backpack and the will to build a better life.
- I've experienced homelessness and know what it means to struggle.
- I have built my life from the ground up - learning, working and refusing to quit.
- I spent years leading teams and managing operations for a national retailer. I learned that leadership starts with learning, listening, accountability and follow -through.
- I chose to build my own business, experiencing firsthand the challenges and uncertainly many small business owners face.
